why do the Dems insist on making law after law? The laws won't change a thing, and will just add to the already overwhelmed Justice system problems. GUNS kill people, but at the hand of other PEOPLE. Just like cars for crissakes. LOL

Posted by Mark at July 29, 2005 02:34 PMThe amendments to give a certain class of people (Policemen, Children, Etc) special and separate rights apart from the citizenry, under the law, is unconstitutional. That is what equal protection under the law means. This type of legislation has consistanly been overturned, Here in New York State, by the appellate courts.
