Comments: .17 Caliber Cleaning...

this is a sore point. having ordered the MOST EXPENSIVE gun, ever, for me, a volquartsen VG-1 17hmr, and of course flirting with buyer's remorse you broach the major topic. how to clean it. volquartsen says using a brass brush wil void the warranty!!!! yet the bullet is clad with copper. over at rimfirecentral.com there is absolutely no aggrement. think i'll use gunslick foam and the boresnake. Lord i want that gun. (sound of head banging wall)

cleaning is easy...

a Nylon bore brush and Montana X-Treme 50 B.M.G.

The nylon bore brush will not scratch or mar the bore and the Montana X-Treme will take out copper...

Your comments are welcome. You don't need to enter a URL and you don't need a "valid" email address, either. Note that MT Blacklist is installed to flag suspiciously spam-like strings. Unfortunately, because of the bastard spammers, the strings "google.com" and "yahoo.com" are currently banned as well. Another common bounce is any word containing the string "cialis" which means words such as socialism will be rejected. Try putting a hyphen into a word like that.
