Purina, as part of their rebirth of Morris the Cat, had him presenting an animal shelter with a check for $5000 dollars. From Northwest Arkansas News:
Mayor Steve Womack gave a cat the key to the city on Thursday.Not all felines, after all, are in the position to donate $5,000 to an animal shelter.
As a part of a nationwide promotion by Del Monte Foods of its revamped 9 Lives cat food line, the company brought back a pet industry icon — Morris the 9 Lives Cat.
Television commercials featuring Morris began to air Monday. He was at the Rogers City Administration Building Thursday for the $5,000 check presentation to Rogers based Humane Society for Animals Inc.
Womack, who has three cats of his own, said Rogers is flattered to be the first stop on Morris’ promotion tour. "This is a very pet-friendly city," Womack said.
Mak and Nani say "give us the Friskies or we wont eat, which will make you feel guilty, Claw the sofa (Nani) which makes you mad, and ooopps missed the box again (Mak) which is his equivelent of leaving the seat up...." They like the Ocean Fish, but we take what we can get and I was only able to buy a smallbag of the "Gourmet Mixed" (factory left overs come on...gourmet really!) the other day, which was vacumed up by the little fuzzballs, so now we have two faves.
Wet food... they will only eat the el cheapo brand "Figaro" by Bumblebee tuna. Can has a violin playing cat on the lable and is mostly tuna processing scrap. Smells disgusting but you know cats... They fight over it!
If they were humans, theyd be hotdog and pizza eating Pepsi swilling foodie lowlife... just like Mom and Dad!
