Speaking of wildlife problems, my boss had to stop leaving out bird feeders because a bear kept visiting to snack from them, destroying them in the process. Do you have problems like this? What was your solution? Have bears ever threatened your cats or dogs?
Yes. We've taught Charlotte to lie down and play dead.
Failing that, we've taught her to stand up, open her coat and make herself look bigger - as this will frighten the bear into believing she is a force to be reckoned with.
Wait. That works only on bobcats and mountain lions.
The solution for the bear problem would be to give the dog a whip and leave a funny hat and a tiny bicycle for the bear.
