I had to spend a chunk of time this morning deleting spam comments for drugs this morning. All I can do is ban the IP address but new ones appear almost every day. Do other MT users suffer this problem?
You might try installing MT-Blacklist. It helps--it's not perfect, but it helps. It keeps track of known spam servers, and allows you to block comments that contain key words, like viagra, that you specify. I believe Keven Aylward at Wizbang helped write it.
